Garden stories: Blue hour

Event
Two sound performances in the Museum Garden, perfect for the last warm nights before the season changes! Set against the hues of the Blue Hour, join us to relax and immerse in sounds within an atmosphere that blends music and the autumnal breeze.
Dalot presents a performance for laptop and live electronics, thematically inspired by dusk, or the Blue Hour, when the sun lies deep below the horizon. This semi-improvised performance focuses on the concept of locality—capturing field recordings and other stimuli that follow the passage of time—and on “the hour” as an immeasurable and ephemeral notion. The performance aims to “dialogue” and coexist with the museum space and its surrounding garden, inviting the audience to experience a harmony with the natural landscape and the distinctive atmosphere of the Blue Hour.
Pinna Bounce explores the relationship between sound and space, as well as concepts like perception and memory. Using trumpet, objects, field recordings, effects, and amplifiers, her work centers on experimentation, improvisation, and expression through sound, as well as the emergence of personal spaces through music. In this event, through the sounds of her trumpet and processors, in collaboration with the landscape and sounds of the museum garden, she will present a musical/sound narrative, story, or fairy tale.
